A Politician’s Job is to Save its people, Not to rob from them.

Another state election is due to come up in Sarawak very soon, on the 18th of December 2021. This has got me to wonder what is the role or duty of our leaders, our politicians who ask for our support so that they can continue to make the decision for the average citizens.

A Doctor’s job is to save a life. A Politician’s job is to save many lives.

But why is it that Politicians are treated like rock stars, like some accomplished entrepreneurs when they are not even doing a great job. Average citizens have lost lives, jobs, money, securities in the past two years. Many lives have been lost during that process. What has the leaders of our country done to soften the blow, to improve the living and working conditions of an average Malaysian?

If a politician do not act like doctors do, what do we keep supporting the same politicians who lies and make empty promises over and over again. 5 Years is a lifetime for a dog, and significant timeline for any one child.

Please consider this carefully when you make that vote.

Regardless of who we all vote for, remember that a Politician’s Job is to Save its people. If he or she cannot perform this duty, please step aside and we can always replace the person. Do not give support blindly just because of some temporary benefits.

There will be no country when the situation becomes uncontrolled and it is too late to reverse any damage done.
