- Face to face customer service will be reserved for the priority few and the rich customers, while most will have to use automated machine for banking, food ordering, gambling etc.
- Online consumption will rise as almost all sectors of business will have to move online either through e-commerce or get on commerce platforms. Those who refuse to change will slowly but inevitably wither.
- Study, Entertainment, Work, Living will somewhat be done online. Only things like travelling, personal experience, be-in-the-moment experience and certain health procedures are not able to be transitioned online. In short, major parts of our lives will be online and one will be left out if he/she does not have a online persona; so built and maintain one.
- Personal communication will be a thing of the past and many will struggle with in-person communication. Comfortable communications will be texting.
- AI will replace most work eg. Accounting, Manufacturing, lorry driving, any mundane repetitive tasks. Should invest in arts, music, creativity : what made us humans.
- People’s vision will deteriorate as most of the devices we use will be only 30cm away. Myopia will be a new pandemic.
- Modern relationship will change accordingly too. Less cooking, less household chores? Will the dynamic change too? Household spending?
When parts of our lives all transition to online, what remains as our humanity? That is the question to ask.
