Telekom Malaysia’s Entitled Behaviour
Currently, there is an effort to force average malaysians to migrate our land lines from copper wire lines to the newer optic-fibre lines. Apparently, the old copper wire is now no longer usable due to lack of maintenance.
I disagree. It is a cheaper alternative to the new optic-fibre line.
Copper wire lines are made to last 100 years. It lasted through the 1st World War and the 2nd World War. It is reliable.
From MYR20 a month, now, we need to fork out MYR45 a month to pay for this.
Telekom Malaysia did it by force, no prior engagement, no prior warning that they will cut the line. Just suddenly, one day, your line goes down.
Imagine if you’re running a busy business operation, you will be hit with downtime.
Look at all these complaints from users who were unwillingly forced over to optic-fibre lines.
Sometimes, i do feel like Telekom Malaysia do not respect us as users. They think they can bully us into submission as they control the market. Well, too bad, i will never advocate anyone to go with Unifi from now on!
